It's nice to have someone jump in that knows a thing or to.. I don't understand the workings of Winxp.. Why it did that in the first place.. Thank you again!! appreciate your expertise. I think it was my fault, I named the folder wrong.. should have been fisher.. there's your less than 8 letters, not Sue Fisher.. when it created the new folder it was C Program files/Fisher/The Font Thing .. thanks again and again..:) hugs Rainy
