Currently i have server "A" running windows server 2003 TS and its
corresponding TS CALS wich are deployed by server "B"

I want to upgrade one of our TS servers (Server "C") to windows 2008
server with its correspinding TS CALS.

I know that the TS installation process will ask me for an account that have
DOMAIN privileges. to install all its needs.

The question is " Can i have Windows 2008 TS enabled on one server and
still have Windows 2003 TS running on other server on the same domain ???
does the new installation of 2008 cals will cause any conflict with the
current 2003 Installation??

are there any considerations to do prior this process ??

Hi Ignacio,

This won't cause any conflict.
All the clients connecting to Windows Server 2003 TS will get Windows Server
2003 TS CALs and the clients connecting through Windows Server 2008 TS will
get Windows Server 2008 TS CALs.

But you need to make sure that you have the license server as Windows Server
2008 only as you can't install Windows Server 2008 license key pack on
Windows Server 2003 license server. If you have Windows Server 2003 license
server, you need to upgrade it Windows Server 2008 to install Windows Server
2008 TS CALs on it.
You can have Windows Server 2003 TS CALs on Windows Server 2008 license
server.
