From: Edgard Kniriem on 20 Mar 2010 16:57 Thank You Shenan C:\Windows\276fb1b5bc69c970b5db8126f22e2a41 As I answered Jose I always try to let the Windows folder as lean as I can, if you know what I mean. I think my SO always will function well if a keep it clean. In fact there are 2 folders (11 and 64 MB). I'm afraid of what could happen if I delete them. Just this. I don't know what you mean by your "SO," but let me tell you that keeping your Windows folder "lean" will not help anything to function well. If what you delete is truly something not needed, it can save you from wasting disk space, but that's all it will do for you. > In fact there are 2 folders (11 and 64 MB). I gave you the standard issue explanation and even the solution and I encourage you to follow it. I assure you, I did not type in a single syllable - it is copy/paste and takes me about 5 seconds. If you do not understand any part of the reply to your issue, my directions need adjusting, so what part is not clear?
From: Edgard Kniriem on 21 Mar 2010 15:36 Id like to thank you again. I've understood everything. My message went in double because I thaught it wasnt sent correctly the first time. And Shenan I writed "SO" instead of "OS", that is Operational System. By the way the wright place of those folders where: C:\276fb1b5bc69c970b5db8126f22e2a41 and not C:\Windows\276fb1b5bc69c970b5db8126f22e2a41 Thanks again. That would be Ken Blake. See here: http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support/browse_frm/thread/bce0c17dc2d51ba8/ That is the entire conversation, archived indefinitely on Google Groups. And it is "Operating System" (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, etc....) not "Operational System"... Operating System: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operating_system Operational System: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operational_system Never too old to learn. ;-) -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
