The relevant paper by Allende Prieto and others seems to be from 2008: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2008ApJ...680..764K I didn't read the full review article, but at first glance there seems to be more of a gradual improvement in our knowledge of abundances than any sudden change.
