The server clock was incorrect. I reset it. Some messages were sent in the
future. I fixed this problem.

I got the above error message on some emails - not all. I know some message
went through with the future date on my end and real date on their end. Do I
need to resend the email with corrected date to the ones I got the error
message on?

Yes you will need to resend those emails. They did not reach the other
recipient.
