It should stay after a soft reset though. Which is the reason the Apple II version of Contiki has it saved on the boot disk. That way it loads on startup. Well, the CS8900 MAC can be set, can it not? I believe we did it on the Apple II Uthernet card, but it's been a while, a looooooooooooong while, so, it's like, hmmmm, not sure. Yes, it has to be in order to get an assigned IP address. Bill
