VLC stables are betas. Thunderbird 3.* releases are alfas. And
7-zip betas are stable.
And a good cigar is not good at all.

I'm disappointed with 7-Zip.

It has a serious problem unRARing multi-part RAR archives. It gets a
lot of false CRC errors. When WinRAR is used, it unRAR's the archives
fine.

I've notified Igor several times, and he mostly ignores the problem.
Pfffft!

I unRAR multi-part RAR archives with 7-Zip (beta) all the time and I
rarely encounter false CRC errors.

I can count on 4 or 5 out of 10 large multi-part RAR archives having
false errors. WinRAR always extracts them just fine.

Try 'Extract Here' or 'Extract files' instead of opening the archive and
dragging the files.
