As noted above, I am updating the list of frequently asked questions and, today, I released an update at <http://rb.doesntexist.org/docs/math-faq.pdf>. The LaTeX code [*] for the whole document is at <http://rb.doesntexist.org/docs/math-faq-2010-02-01.tar.xz>. For this new update of the FAQ, I worked a bit on gathering the bibliographic references from the text and created a BiBTeX file. You can feel free to get the BiBTeX file for your own use. I would appreciate if, in this particular stage: * You could verify if the references are correct---many of them have some parts missing and it would be superb to have all the books and articles with accurate, complete information. * You could send suggestions with improvements to the document (Are there any sections that you would like to see? Are there any errors?). Of course, full credit will be given to any contributor. I hope you like the direction that the FAQ is taking and I welcome any help to make the document better for reference or study. Thanks, Rogrio Brito. [*] That is a tar file compressed with xz, the new compression scheme that GNU tools support, based on the LZMA family of algorithms---you can get a decompressor at <http://tukaani.org/xz/>. -- Rogrio Brito : rbrito@{ime.usp.br,gmail.com} : GPG key 1024D/7C2CAEB8 http://rb.doesntexist.org : Packages for LaTeX : algorithms.berlios.de DebianQA: http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=rbrito%40ime.usp.br
