I'm looking at a new Lenovo laptop and want a docking station with it
for use with my big monitor, kbd and mouse and ethernet.

The only choice this laptop model gives me is this item:

ThinkPad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video
Described here:

The port replicator appears to connect to the lpatopn by a USB2.0
cable. Can they really pump good video and 100MB ethernet through a
USB cable?

Am I missing something?
