From: RONNIEJAY32 on 30 May 2010 22:50 All email that I receive are marked with an icon that looks like a telephone. I have to mark each one to download them and then send/receive. It started when I installed ESET antivirus. I cannot delete any message untill I wait for the complete download. The blocked senders do not move to junk mail until I download and then redo send/receive. What do I need to do to get this back to normal?

You don't say what version of Outlook you are using, nor the platform (operating system) that you are running on. Regardless, this is clearly not an Outlook problem - as is fairly obvious. Change the eSet AV settings so it does not scan incoming nor outgoing email (preferably, stop it from doing anything with your emails). (The "realtime" scanning component of any AV program will still stop viruses). -- Duncan.
