IMO it didn't look very user-friendly, so I didn't give it a try. Once it's installed, you can set the options for it like any other extension with options. I prefer to have a menu entry for it under the "Bookmarks" menu item, but it can also be on the Status Bar or under the Tools menu or in the Bookmarks Organizer (the "Library") or in all of them if you like. Wherever you choose to have it, you simply click on the menu entry and the "Checkplaces 2.1.0" window opens. Then you click on the "Check" button.
