From: rupert on 24 Apr 2010 13:15 Hi I want to be able to view queries and tables simultaneously using Access 2007 as is possible in Access2003. I cant see a way to do this in Access2007 as the queries and tables are not detachable and draggable as in A2003. I work with other Access developers who refuse to switch to A07 becuase of the interface. Is it possible to get detachable draggable windows in A07? If not I'm going back to A03. I just installed Access2010 but cant see how to do this there either. Seems a major oversight by Microsoft in designing new versions of Access? Thanks, R
From: Arvin Meyer [MVP] on 24 Apr 2010 14:07 You should be able to turn off tabbed view, in both 2007 and 2010. -- Arvin Meyer, MCP, MVP http://www.datastrat.com http://www.accessmvp.com http://www.mvps.org/access "rupert" <rupert(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A77979F6-AA34-4D9A-879F-EDBE129B3FD8(a)microsoft.com... > Hi > I want to be able to view queries and tables simultaneously using Access > 2007 as is possible in Access2003. From: roccogrand on 24 Apr 2010 18:47 Do you know who those developers have as customers? I looking to expand my customer base and Access 2007 is light years ahead of Access 2003 in many respects. It takes a little getting used to but the Ribbon is great, and multivalue fields are easy to use. I would say that if you use MV fields and are not using Sharepoint, then you aren't a professional developer. Your clients are being badly ill-served by your work if you're using MV fields in a non-Sharepoint app. -- David W.
