Hello,

I`ve read on the wiki, that tdbc was bundled with tcl 8.6. I tried to look
for any documentation of its usage in ActiveState`s documentation for their
package but there seems to be none :(

By the way, any idea why latest ActiveState packages comes with tcllib 1.10
(at least their documentation says so) if tcllib 1.11.1 was released in
2008?

Similiary, other packages seem to be outdated too. Is this only their number
version on the documentation page was not corrected or they are really
outdated?

Just to jump in before any of the AS guys do...

I'm running ActiveTcl 8.6b1.1 on Linux and that came with man pages for
tdbc. I don't have access to my Windows box at present, I'd guess that
they are waiting until 8.6 comes out of beta before they tidy up the docs.

I've no idea why some of the packages aren't at the latest versions,
judging by the versions they report when loaded, so it's more than just
the version they show on the web.

Man pages might be included in linux but I meant the online documentation:
http://docs.activestate.com/activetcl/8.6/at.pkg_index.html
It would be nice if it was complete

These have apparently been reported to us already, as bugs

http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=86032
and http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=86031

Regarding the outdated package versions ('32), this was a
documentation bug and has been fixed by me in our doc sources now. Now
it is just a matter of time until the website is updated as well.

Regarding the missing tdbc docs ('31), that bug is still open. It is a
bug in our doc generation scripts that they are not aware of tdbc in
8.6 yet, which I have to fix.

Andreas.
