From: Zannie on 24 Jan 2010 19:31 Trying to add a section/chapter number in the right margin of Word document (report). Would like this to be similar to an index tab, easy to see when flicking through a long report.

Access the Header Pane of the first Section of the document and then insert a TextBox into the Right Margin in the position where you want it to appear. Inside that TextBox, insert a Section field.
