Prev: Adding a text box to a chart sheet via the keyboard only
Next: Issue with linked text box formatting
From: skydiver on 20 Apr 2010 14:54 Is there any way in 2007 to add a text box onto a chart sheet without using the mouse? In 2003 you used to just be able to type into the formula bar and hit enter. In 2007 I have typed using the keyboard navigation Alt>N>X but then you need to use your mouse to draw the box, any suggestions?

Hello, For charting, the ability to automatically create textboxes when typing was deprecated in 2007. This link will take you to additional items that have been discontinued. http://blogs.msdn.com/excel/archive/2006/08/28/724641.aspx -- John Mansfield http://www.cellmatrix.net "skydiver" wrote: > Is there any way in 2007 to add a text box onto a chart sheet without using > the mouse?
