Goto www.crucial.com and there is a tool there to download and check or you can just put in the make and model #. Here is the make and model link: http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=T1090
From: Gerry on 15 Dec 2008 14:16 Jimbo According to this link the answer is no. You already have the maximum. http://www.shopping.com/xPF-E-Machines-T1090 The only answer if you are having performance issues, as I expect you are is to trim what loads on start up. You also need to be careful what software you install. Also avoid multi-tasking. What do you use the computer for? Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak? -- Hope this helps. Since 256MB is the max listed for that machine and if it running too slow for you, I would consider formating the HDD and installing Win98SE on it. Otherwise, keep the min amt of programs running and do good housekeeping.

Hello, Gerry and Buffalo. Thanks for your input and yes I'm having performance issues, also my computer is running too slow. How do you trim programs from loading on start up? Thanks in advance.
