when XP is installed

an administrator account is installed by default


to access you simply need to log on as administrator

when you first installed XP

unless you specifically specified a password


the default password is simply blank


in other words just press the <enter> key instead of entering a password

Boot into Safe Mode to see the Administrator account.

At the login screen, press ctrl+alt+del to bring up the "standard" login
dialog. Type in administrator for the login name.
