From: Joseph on 6 Jan 2010 17:36 I went to open my Outlook yesterday, and it said that the .pst file could not be found. I went and manually found the .pst file and opened it using Outlook 2007 but when I did all my customized email folders were missing, my entire Calendar was blank, all my Contacts were missing and Outlook and re-sent all 11,000 emails I have received from the first day I used to Outlook. I used the Inbox Repair Tool but it did not recover any of my lost information. Is there a way to fix this problem or have I lost all my Contacts and Calendar information?
From: Judy Gleeson (MVP Outlook) on 7 Jan 2010 01:14 I think you have found the worng .pst file and opened it in Outlook. Do a search and include HIdden Files. Look for .pst file names. Then, in Outlook, add it as a data file and when you find the right one, make it the default.
