I would like to alphabetize a list of names sent to me via an email attachment

Is the attachment a Word document?

How is the list constructed? Table? Tabular list? First name first or Last
name first?

What version of Word are you using?

It could be as simple as selecting the list & using the Sort command from
the Table menu but with no details to go on I can't be sure.
