Seems to me that Purplenova isn't freeware anymore so i'm looking for an
alternative.

Is there a reason why Apache is not used?

I simply use TinyWeb which is good enough for lightweight
purposes.

Windows 7, just a basic webserver, i don't like the one included in
Windows 7 itself.
I'm testing abyss now, but well, let's say, the feeling isn't there.
