And if Charles reads this, I am willing to put in some time to help with the domain of application (though it should be understood that I do have a paying job), I have a friend I've been teaching Ruby, but he's been a bit aloof. He used Python to host a server, and Java to get his phone to connect to it, I wouldn't mind being able to help him set up a JRuby app on his phone, and would be willing to use as much of my understanding as possible. If that is not going to happen for quite a while, I wouldn't mind knowing this either, sot hat i dont accidentally promise things I can't deliver. |
