From: Lockheed Martin Business Analyst Lockheed Martin Business on 7 May 2010 10:04 I have many Visio diagrams I would like to port into Powerpoint to take advantage of animation. All I know is to copy/paste each individual object (box, line, etc.) from Vision into Powerpoint, so each is recognized as an individual object in Powerpoint. Then, I can animate each individual object. I would like to find a way to copy the entire diagram in Visio and paste into Powerpoint, then animate each individual object. Does anyone know if there is a way to do that?????

That'll give you individual shapes you can animate in PPT. ============================== PPT Frequently Asked Questions http://www.pptfaq.com/ PPTools add-ins for PowerPoint http://www.pptools.com/
From: Lockheed Martin Business Analyst on 7 May 2010 14:36 Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it...but Powerpoint still sees the diagram from Visio as one entity for animation. From: John.. Visio MVP on 8 May 2010 09:32 Save the Visio drawing as a Windows Metafile (*.WMF) and, as Steve said, you will have to ungroup several times. The real hassle is that the shapes will be severally fragmented and you will have to select an area and group it to make the shapes useful. -- Need stencils or ideas? http://Visio.MVPs.org/3rdparty.htm Need VBA examples? http://Visio.MVPs.org/VBA.htm Common Visio Questions http://Visio.MVPs.org/common_questions.htm "Lockheed Martin Business Analyst" wrote: > Thanks for the suggestion.
