Greetings...
I am attempting to make animations in Matlab so that I can save them as some type of video file. I have successfully done this with movie2avi, but the filesize is much too large (I am running Matlab on a Unix platform at my university, so I cannot compress the output .avi file directly). I also don't have the authorization to install mpgwrite.

Are there any other ideas?
