I also am unable to download.

adastudio(a)ftp1.jabry.com/vad/vad73src.tar.bz2 times out with
a 'could not connect to host ftp1.jabry.com' message.

ftp ftp1.jabry.com/vad/vad73src.tar.bz2 returns
ftp: Name or service not known

I use Opera browser and test download is works well.

Looks like it depends on the client program used. It worked for me now with
Firefox, but not with ncftp or konqueror for example.
