When I stated the belief (which I still maintain) that the Beale
cipher methodology was the work of Jefferson, Smug Doug was quick to
"correct" me. No, they were Jefferson style or type (forgot which)
ciphers. This remark should be viewed as nothing more than an attempt
to dilute the historic significance of the information he is
suppressing for his own gain. Intrinsic to the remark is a clever
escape, for who better than Jefferson could design a Jefferson "style"
cipher? Of course, it never occurred to the descriminating readership
of sci.corrupt to wonder how Smug Doug arrived at such a conclusion.
Was he commenting on all three ciphers? Do we all now know that the
"broken" cipher is a hoax?

Will you please stop wasting our time with this childish behavior?
You've made your opinion very clear and should by now realize that
nobody here cares. If it's because we're all corrupt and in cahoots
with "Smug Doug", then you're wasting your proverbial breath. If it's
because we all think you're a ranting lunatic, you are once again
wasting said proverbial breath.

Please do us all a favor and disappear from the list; you are not
contributing to any technical discussions here and we're all very well
irritated with your whining. Please do go away.
