From: Barfy the Wonder Camel on 5 Jul 2010 18:42 I've bought a DIR-330, and am trying to access my LAN from a remote machine. The DIR-330 is attached to a Shaw cable network, which doesn't have dynamic dns set up yet (I'm using the ip address, if that makes a difference). The remote machine is a laptop using a Rogers rocketport (wireless modem). I've followed all the instructions that I can find on the d-link website for setting things up. When I try to connect from INSIDE my lan, it works, but I don't really know if it's actually going out then back in. When I try to connect through the rocketport, it gets to "verifying user name and password", sits for a while, then says connection failed because the remote computer failed to respond. I'll be happy to answer any questions, but I don't really know where to go next right now.
