I have a very limited need to be able to type on a PDF form before I
print it.

PDF Viewer will allow me to do this. I wish I could use a larger
font, but I can't figure out. Anyone know how to do this with PDF
Viewer or suggest another program for filling out PDF forms?

You can try "PDF-XChange Viewer" from
http://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer
It also allows Manipulating/Modifying Existing PDF files to an extent.

You can Zoom in/out to view in the reqd size, which is available in
Adobe Reader as well (click the + or - buttons on the Toolbar, *or*
enter Percent to Zoom in the drop-down-box *or* View/Zoom/Zoom to...).
