From: Just me on 15 Feb 2010 15:58 Does each Quicken update generally include all prior updates or does each update have to be installed separately? In other words, if I install Quicken do I need to also apply just the most recent update or all updates for that year? Thanks! George gearlnospamno(a)nospamcomcast.net
From: Steve JORDI on 16 Feb 2010 03:29 From experience, yes they are. The exe file is each time a bit bigger so it is likely that it includes the previous ones. Just install and run "One Step Update". It will do everything for you. BTW, the updates *ARE* cumulative. You'll see only the latest update applied. -- Regards, Hank Arnold Microsoft MVP Windows Server - Directory Services http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/personal-pc-assistant/

What if I wait to install it until sometime in the future? Like a year from now? How long does Quicken keep the updates available for One Step Update? I was planning to download and keep the updates until I am ready to install the software. > BTW, the updates *ARE* >cumulative. You'll see only the latest update applied. Thanks! From: Steve JORDI on 17 Feb 2010 05:31 If you want to install it in several years, you can download the manual update files now and save them. That's what I do. I keep the latest patch executable so I don't need any Internet connection. And I keep only the latest one.
