I dunno, I have this next to a 150 W PEP SSB.
The wire (RS232 link) hangs over the coax, bit crowded space.
I am using XLR 3 pole audio connectors for the thing, 1 ground, as it is leading,
one power, one signal, do not use return signal, so no MAX232, just a transistor.
Found some nice transparent box for it on the internet, ordered a few.
And, if you like dogs, this is cool too:

Well, 150W isn't too bad if shortwave. Kilowatt pulses are a different
matter.

Nice... although that sure isn't an HD44780-compatible LCD that you ripped out
of an old FAX machine. :-)
