Maybe changing the license policy takes so long. Bye-bye CDDL?

How does Oracle's NDA with customers about system roadmaps
differ from dear old Sun's?

Unless you've got facts, you're just speculating.

The only thing that I'm convinced of is that the delay plus Oracle's
policy of only allowing very senior people to authorize
communication about upcoming releases or updates is feeding the
speculation.

But going by what I've seen, there are enough more conventional
explanations for any delays that I'm not going to worry for awhile
yet.

I'd prefer to keep guesses that look more like conspiracy theories
as a last resort. After all, most conspiracies don't even look like
conspiracy theories.
