From: Dirk Bruere at NeoPax on 14 Feb 2010 14:57 I need to point the audio setup at a specific bit of software, rather than an installed sound card. (Sounds and Audio/Audio/Default Device) Normally it's an option that gets selected via the GUI. However, while I can set the default device to the bit of s/w I want, that is only after it loads on startup, which is too late for it to be selected automatically, and I have to go to control panel and do it manually. Is there some command line I can use, for example, something like: "set Sounds and Audio/Audio/Default Device = mySoftware"? instead of what appears at present "Sounds and Audio/Audio/Default Device == RealTek Audio output" -- Dirk http://www.transcendence.me.uk/ - Transcendence UK http://www.theconsensus.org/ - A UK political party http://www.blogtalkradio.com/onetribe - Occult Talk Show
