Occasionally, I'll leave a session disconnected and come back to find that a
fresh login is being initiated. I don't know if this occurred because of a
system error or because one of the other admins decided it was time to log
off all disconnected users. Is there some place to look or something I can
activate that will log why a user was logged off whether it was through user
initiation, server reboot, administrator action in Terminal Services
Manager, etc.?

What is the Windows version of Terminal Services are you running?
You can enable the RDP-Tcp auditing Tscc.msc(Win2k3 and earlier) or
Tsconfig.msc (Win2k8 or later) Rdp-Tcp->Security (Permissions if w2k3 or
earlier)->Advanced->Audit.
but I don't think it will provide the reason why a sessions are being
logoff.
Thanks
Soo Kuan
