From: Arthur Tabachneck on 14 Jan 2010 13:34 I found the following SAS note while searching for something else and thought it might be of interest to some: In Windows operating environments, SAS autoimporterv9 programs enable you to automatically import all worksheets in a Microsoft Excel Workbook. In order to use these programs, you must have SAS/ACCESS® Interface to PC File Formats and SAS® 9 licensed and installed. You can obtain these programs from this FTP directory (ftp://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/base/) or by clicking the following file names to go directly to the programs: autoimporterv9.sas ftp://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/base/autoimporterv9.sas automatically imports all worksheets in a Microsoft Excel workbook. The program requires that you specify the XLS file. autoimporterv9csheettrack.sas ftp://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/base/autoimporterv9csheettrack.sas automatically imports all worksheets in a Microsoft Excel workbook and identifies the original importing sheet in a master file. The program requires that you specify the XLS file. autoimporterv9access.sas ftp://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/base/autoimporterv9access.sas automatically imports all Microsoft Access tables in a Microsoft Access MDB file. The program requires that you specify the MDB file. autoimporterv9accesspw.sas ftp://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/base/autoimporterv9accesspw.sas automatically imports all Microsoft Access tables in a Microsoft Access MDB file that has a password. The program requires that you specify the MDB file and the password. Both autoimporterv9access.sas and autoimporterv9accesspw.sas have the ability to append or create a new master SAS data set that contains all the sheets of data. Art
