As I said, it is up to *you* to understand the properties of the various methods, and the constraints of whatever problem *you* work with. Only when *you* understand both, are *you* in a position where *you* can make informed choises concerning *your* project. There is an 'art' part to science. Getting the overview of the various alternative methods to do the same thing, and their respective properties, is the first step into that world. The amateur or novice uses the standard methods. The skilled engineer uses the method that best suits the task at hand. Rune |
