You *are* an idiot, aren't you?

Splines can not be incrementally updated when new data become
available. One needs to recompute the whole interpolant from
scratch, if one wants to update a spline interpolant after
new data have been included in the data set.

I have told you this before: Read what is *actually* said.
It is not sufficient that you *think* you know what is said.
