LittleJohn Nessuno uses university computers (128.32.124.193 / wigner.Berkeley.EDU) to spam this group with his lies and off-topic rants. I wouldn't want to have a liar "teaching" in a lecture-room, if I was Robert J. Birgeneau, Chancellor of Berkeley.

I've got too many memories of complete incompetents put in charge of the teaching of ICT. Since most of the ICT qualifications in this country require little more than a pulse and the ability to take a screen-shot of the 'Document Statistics' in Microsoft Word, it's not exactly surprising that failure is fairly widespread. I remember trying to explain to my ICT teacher that it would not be possible to put a three megabyte file on to a 1.44 megabyte floppy disk, and that Acrobat Reader (as it then was) would perhaps be a more appropriate application for opening PDF files than Word. I think they passed her around like a bad cough from school to school every year. -- Tom Morris <http://tommorris.org> |
