In such a situation, it helps *a lot*, if the original post or some context, is present in the answers. In an ideal world, a server would never lose posts, but I've noticed some problems recently on two of my USENET servers. I think some Google Groups posters went missing, while the regulars answering the posters, still showed up. To hope to reconstruct the thread, does require some context. Paul
