From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 16 Jan 2010 23:00 Nickname files are at %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook - the extension used to be .nick, prior to outlook 2002. It changed to nk2 with outlook 2002. Views are stored in the pst. Back it up and you'll have a backup of your mail and the views. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Poll: What version of Exchange server do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=33803 "falcios" <falcios(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:80DE1FD7-F20D-4CB8-A14E-D25E57F12916(a)microsoft.com... > I am trying to back up nicknames in Outlook 2002 and I can't find any > extension with *.nk2.
