From: KHilker on 13 May 2010 14:42 Sorry to bump the thread, but I have a question along the same lines. I go into Installmode install app1.msi, install App2.msi, import a .reg file with HKCU data (regedit /s Sample.reg) go back execute mode the HKCU keys created by the MSI installs appear in the shadow registry just fine, but the HKCU keys created by the REG file do not. Why would that be? What is the recommended approach for importing HKCU keys for all users of a terminal server? (Win 2003 R2 x64 SP2 with TS role) Thank you in advance - "Christa Anderson [MSFT]" wrote: > HI, Lozza, > > There's no reason to flip between install mode and execute mode when > installing applications.
