Hi!

What is the most proper procedure when upgrading a server that ihas
beenhardened by Solaris Security Toolkit.

1. undo the hardening, upgrade and then redo the hardening
or
2. perform an upgrade directly on the hardened server.

There's no problem upgrading without first unhardening.

You may need to re-run the SST kit , though.
