Just had a quick look, and all I can say is that it *looks* promising.

According to the homepage, ALPHA version released in December 2007,
first BETA in February 2009, then the current BETA in February 2010.

Double Commander is news to me anyway. Not mentioned here lately
either. Curios about how it compares in use to the shareware they copy
(TotalCommander) or another well known (here at least) free dual pane
manager; FreeCommander <http://www.freecommander.com/fc_downl_en.htm>.
