From: rock on 16 Feb 2010 02:31 HI, I have XP Pro SP3 and a gigabyte Radeon HD4850 Display card on an Asus P5Q3 mobo. It has 4GB RAM and 650 Watts power. No over clocking, just straight. For some reason the screen goes black every now and then and then reboots. In event viewer there no problem show except this is ACEEventLog. Any ideas what may be causing it. It is so random and just happens anytime. First you use the CD that the Video Card came from (Go to Device Management First write down what Video card it says there, and then "Uninstall" the Video Card It will go to "VGA" mode and then when you reboot it should ask for a cd If you don't have a CD or the install doesn't install the Video Driver Go to ATI and download the correct Driver for your card (You may have to do some home work to find out what you have.)
