Has this feature been removed from Word 2007?
From: Polaris on
I found my problem thanks to Ms. Barnhill. I somehow unchecked "Replace text
as you type"

Hi Polaris,

No - it's been enhanced. Not only do you have =rand(), which generates new content, but there's also =rand.old() and =lorem().

No, and in fact it has also been supplemented by =lorem(), but the text
inserted has been changed. Note that = must be the first character in a
paragraph, and you must press Enter after the closing parenthesis to expand
the text.

Nope. It's still there--in three forms:

=rand.old() gives you quick foxes.

=rand() gives you a short treatise on Word 2007

=lorem() gives you faux Latin.

You can also include two parameters in the parens (p,s), where p is the
number of paragraphs and s is the number of sentences.

=rand(5,4) would give you 5 four-sentence paragraphs.
