Using bookmarks to link from one document to another but whenever I
control/click on the hyperlink it just takes me to the cursor position
instead of the bookmarked place. What am I doing wrong?

In the Insert Hyperlink dialog, are you clicking the Bookmark button
and choosing the specific bookmark from the list?
