From: Theslaz on 6 Nov 2009 22:40 Installed a new Sata capable hard drive in my computer. Tried to install windows 7 on the new hard drive. Would not install; as it indicated that the drive probably would not accept a operating system (Had to us an expansion card with a Sata interface ). Said "OH well" and decided to do some research. Tried to boot into my orginal windows XP operating system and an error popped up stating "Boot Mangaer is missing"! Black screen. What?? I have a back up; but don't like the idea of jumping through all those hoops!

Not; said the file system was corrupt. Presently doing a restore from my recent bsck up. Hopefully that will work. The last time I tried a restore; the stupid back up was corrupt. Seems to be working as it's being done as I speak.
