Finder's burn folders operate by accumulating aliases to the items you want to burn. When you proceed to burn the CD/DVD, it follows the aliases to fetch the original items. At the end of the burn, it does a verify, and if the original files changed between the burn and verify, Finder will report an error because the CD doesn't match the current state of the file. If you are burning something like your Library folder (or anything else which contains frequently changing files) it is very likely you will get an error reported for the burn. This is unlikely to apply when you are burning a CD with iTunes, because you presumably aren't changing the content or tag information in the music files while the CD is being burned. -- David Empson dempson(a)actrix.gen.nz
