From: j on 2 Feb 2010 14:24 I'm looking at options for buying Adobe CS4 Design Standard in the UK. The cheapest authorised reseller seems to be via amazon for around 1,000. There is another seller called pb software (http://www.pbsoftware.co.uk/) which has a good price. Research shows that they're not an official Adobe reseller. It looks like they buy from the US then sell on in the UK (though I can't confirm this). I don't know how this works legally. I know a friend who ordered through them and has had no problems: the software works fine and he's even rung up Adobe (US) and his name is on their registration database. Does anyone know the full legal position on ordering US Adobe software and registering it in the UK? Any experiences? War stories?

Educational pricing? 420 seems rather more rasonable! Adobe have broad qualification criteria; even schoolkids count: <http://www.adobe.com/uk/education/purchasing/qualify.html> Gwynne -- My real email is net, not line.
