I'm hoping, but I seriously doubt it. As an aside, I plugged my DTV into my AWA portable DVD players A/V inputs to check and see if the PAL composite out of the DTV is clean enough to display properly on an LCD screen. It is and it does (including the colour fault, ofcourse) ;-)

The batch I couldn't tell you. Is there an easy way to tell? The price, $50 I think. This is the same target that sells a 1GHz computer w/14" CRT etc for $1200 though. And the iPAQ they have on display (inside the glass cabinet mind you) has a smashed screen. A couple of the many horrors. I wish i could say it was limited to just that store. > > Last Christmas they flew out of the stores at least locally but I haven't > looked for them this year. I don't think they moved at all here. Even the atari thing and the single game TV games (eg Tetris) which were heavily resuced barely moved. -- -----> http://members.dodo.com.au/~izabellion1/tristan/index.html <----- ===== It's not pretty, it's not great, but it is mine. =====

I'm afraid I'm not very educated on this subject... Could someone tell me what this "colour fault" is? I've heard about it elsewhere, but I don't think I've read a proper explanation of it. -Andrew

I guess I should have specified that I was looking for the NTSC version. -Andrew

The Nissan head unit came with an inbuilt 6" LCD screen to show radio station tuning, EQ settings and stuff like that. It also has a video /audio in socket, so i made a small adaptor and hey presto, i can now play my C64 DTV in the car and have the sound through my Alpine system :) mike |
