From: violet on 1 May 2010 11:52 would like to view only the current month in my 2003 version. I don't want to see the ending days/dates of last month nor the first few days of the next month.

Sorry, but that can't be done. Outlook must put _something_ in the extra spaces preceeding the first day of the month and following the last day of the month.
