My Contacts List (in Outlook) has names stored in Last Name, First Name order.

Is it possible to change this order for the whole list, without changing
each name individually?

Outlook uses no such term as Contact List, so we don't know what you mean by
it.
You did not specify to which view version or you are referring, so we can't
tell you how to sort it.

Your question should be "How do I change the "File As" value for
multiple contacts?"
